CV-9 For Ladies & Gentlemen
Sometimes referred to as “English walking shoes”, these attractive ankle boots were made in men’s and women’s sizes. Made of waxed- flesh leather with brass eyelets and pegged soles. Some ladies’ styles had foxed toes in contrasting colors. (Ladies contact us for color possibilities.)
These shoes are sometimes seen after 1870 with brass screwed soles. We can offer that variation on request although pegged soles continued to be seen throughout the 19th century.
