The brass tips or aglets* are created by rolling and crimping a small piece of sheet brass directly onto the laces. Missouri Boot and Shoe has an original hand crimping tool and hand crimps each tip in place on the cord.  These are great for women's shoe, walking shoes and other styles calling for round cord lace. Huberd's Shoe Grease After cleaning your leather with Fiebing's Saddle Soap apply Huberd's Shoe Grease to restore the natural oils and greases.  With regular cleaning followed by the use of Huberd's Shoe Grease you can help add years of service to your footwear and leather gear.   This beeswax based treatment is known for its superior ability to waterproof and preserve leather. It is specially formulated to condition and restore while retaining superior breathability. it contains no animal fats or solvents that can damage leather or deteriorate thread.   Just rub into the leather with your hands or a soft cloth and allow to penetrate the leather then apply another coat. Always spot test when using on light leather as it may cause it to darken. Repair Work So you have taken care of your shoes but it is time for new soles or have noticed you need some minor repair work done what do you do?   We will be happy to put new soles on your footwear. This can be done at a fraction of the cost of a new pair of shoes. See price for Full and Half Soles below. Other repairs can often be made as well.
